We had an overall fair experience with Chris and Sara. We got very good advice going into the sale about strategies to inspire better offers, which is what initially encouraged us to choose them, and we believe this advice was ultimately worthwhile. However, given the service is marketed as premium and easy, we had a few more issues than we would have expected along the way. For example, attention to detail about the property's features could have been better. We had to go back and forth a few times to get the details right, including having to prove we owned a car parking space, which was discussed during the initial walkaround. At times we felt more care could have been taken in the marketing of our property, and in step by step communication with us - for example, a review of marketing material before publish was discussed beforehand but didn't happen, and errors had to be fixed after the fact. Queries from the team were often duplicative between team members, and we didn't get updates before signs went up, and so on. We felt our listing write up lacked oomph compared with others. And understandably, the market being in a bit of a slump at the moment meant we didn't get the amount we'd hoped, and nowhere near the amount Chris appraised. During conversations considering offers, his memory of the appraisal range conveniently reduced and we were presented with a whole range of reasons why the offer was a good one, despite it falling well short of expectations set. So in that sense, we felt a bit played. We understand the amount we got was reasonable, all other things considered, but due to our own research rather than what Lowe&Co offered up. Ultimately we are grateful that our place sold quickly - this we can credit them with for sure. But the overall service could have been more honest, better communicated and sharper.
Ben, Amanda and team are very professional operators. Their team communications were open and clear. With Ben's experience we felt very reassured, from his initial assessment through to the final sale. We trusted his opinion on the market at the time of listing and were therefore reassured about how best to market our property. Ben has excellent people and negotiation skills. We will would list with them again in a heart beat.

We chose Sam and Ben over five other groups of agents on account of Tommy's approach to bringing all of their other agents through the property in person at the start of the campaign; something other agencies tended not to do, but we felt this was potentially going to be an important factor given the uniqueness of our property, and after meeting Sam and Ben we felt they would represent the house well and would treat prospective buyers with the requisite professionalism and respect that was required to get our house sold in what was a challenging buyer's market. By the time our house hit the market we felt it was presented as best as it could be, in no small thanks to the advice received from Sam and Ben. Throughout what turned out to be a prolonged campaign, they provided sage and up-to-date market advice, were never pushy, always conducted themselves professionally and were very pleasant to deal with. In the end, whilst we didn't get the amount we were originally expecting, we were accepting of market dynamics and got the house sold at a price we could accept. Would definitely use them again.
Sara and Chris were warm, professional, super efficient and a joy to deal with. They were very responsive no matter the question or the time of day. I would have no hesitation in hiring them again. Very happy with the price achieved as well. Their initial price estimate / appraisal was accurate, which is hard to get right in the current market! Their entire process from contracts to admin, staging to photos, open homes to the offer and final sale, was pretty much perfect. Reliable and honest communication throughout. From the ‘For Sale’ sign going up, to the offer coming in, it was only 10 days. A good result in the current sluggish market. Nothing short of amazing quite frankly. Thanks must also go to the rest of the Lowes team who helped out behind the scenes. They are undoubtedly the best real estate team in Wellington. Thank you to Chris and Sara.
