Having experienced Tamsin's approach on a previous house sale we did not hesitate to use her services again. Tamsin has in-depth knowledge of the process and a good understanding of market trends and where things were sitting for our location. We were kept very up to date with progress and had no need to chase her up for information - it was provided before we needed to! She showed sensitivity for our situation and circumstances. When some challenges arose for us during the marketing period she responded promptly and liaised with neighbours and others when we couldn't be 'on the ground' at certain times. Charles sold our apartment to us in a no-fuss manner, so we chose him to sell it for us 5-6 years later. We did consider two others at the time and his cost was competitive. The Wellington market was slow for 1 bed apartments but he worked cooperatively with both tenant and letting agent so we had rental income coming in right up to the week of settlement. We heard no complaints from the tenants about the volume of open homes either, and there were plenty. That was where we felt Charles acted for us in the best way. Our income investment kept performing. Charles worked with us to keep the advertising fresh, modifying text and photos as the months ticked by. He knew the new build competition and kept us informed of their price points. We felt that, whilst frustration was building at the time wasting of some prospective buyers, Charlie remained focused, determined and professional. We liked the fact that the price strategy took into account our unique selling proposition so we were not being pushed into a race to the bottom. Trying to sell in a soft market is when a good estate agent shines and Charles did just that and got us an acceptable offer. Charles didn’t stop there. He then worked with the buyer and tenant to ensure the move out/move in days were seamless to us, with no hassle when items were left by the tenant. Our conveyancing solicitor seems quite happy working with Charles too. Overall, we are satisfied with the process and outcome, and so we recommend Charles to sell apartments in the Central Wellington area, even when the market is tough.

Charles is a professional in what he does. He knows the market and type of property he is dealing with. He was able to identify and advice what is required to achieve higher sale in this current market. Great presentation and prompt communication and very responsive. Negotiation at final sales were great, was able to achieve what we wanted.

We listed our house with Fleur as bought our new home through her conditional on its sale. She was really helpful getting it ready for sale, including loaning us some of her personal styling items throughout the listing process through to ironing the bedspreads before the real estate photos. It was an emotional sale for us and we felt pretty well supported by Fleur amidst the uncertainties of a sale process, but were pleased to have a successful sale at a price we were happy with via a competitive auction that was brought forward by a week.
