Hi, I’m Rupert Kemeys – Lower Hutt born and bred. I started my real estate journey back in 2007 when I was just 18. First I worked with my dad (he showed me the ropes), then a year later I went out on my own as a salesperson. In 2009 my brother Elliot jumped in and we started selling together as “Kemeys Brothers”. After a few really good years we decided to take the big leap and open our own office under one of the biggest brands in New Zealand – Ray White. That’s when Ray White Kemeys Brothers was born. For the first 8 years I was Managing Director and we grew the family business from a handful of us to over 30 salespeople. The proudest moment was when two Hutt Valley boys passed $1 billion in sales – something Elliot and I never thought would be possible. Today the company is well past $2 billion in total sales. In 2020 Elliot took over as Managing Director and I stepped back into what I love most – selling homes. I enjoyed building the business, but I really missed being out there helping people every day. These days I’m back doing what I do best: working hard, selling as many properties as I can, while still giving every single client the highest level of service and getting them premium results.
