We responded to a recommendation about the outstanding care and attention these 2 women offered in the sale of a friend's house. Our initial meeting was lively and very enjoyable and we came away with a very comprehensive brochure and a couple of days later received a video of the property. All looking very attractive. We had a tall order - a quick sale at a good price, while accommodating the tenant who'd been in the property for about a year and was well settled. There were also some repairs we were hoping would wait for the new owner. The property went on the market in December and there were 2 viewings. Before the third, a keen buyer had met the tenant, assured her that he would continue her tenancy, made an unconditional offer and said not to worry about the work needing to be done - he'd do it himself! Everything went through without a hitch and we are so grateful for Julie and Sarah's delightful light touch and extensive professional expertise which made the whole business a breeze - for us! While they were clearly doing a good job for their client, the vendor, the ease and flexibility while dealing with us as a potential purchaser was a key reason why we went ahead. We had sold half a dozen properties in Australia previously but not through tender, which is what was recommended. The Wallaces had suggested this method as there was some time pressure and also having 2 little kids it was a challenge to have too many open homes. We agreed with their approach and got the result we were after. Throughout the process there was regular communication which we felt was genuine and honest which is critical when going through a property sale. They are clearly an experienced team. The final offer of the buyer was significantly above their first which indicates a strong negotiating process from the Wallaces. Overall it was probably not the best time to sell but we were very happy with result and felt the Wallaces could not have done a better job.
