An inflated prediction of the Market Price probably gave us unrealistic expectations/

We had the property on the market for 6 months without any real interest. The newspaper advertising probably had negligible impact, the Open Homes produced no genuine buyers, the market in Auckland in our price bracket is clearly difficult. This was after we were led to believe the house was special & would appeal. We were fortunate an offshore buyer saw the advertisement on line & through a Buyer's Agent bought the house. The price was about 25% below expectation & 10% below RV, That is the Market! The Wallaces are all lovely people & lovely to deal with, its just "Hard swimming up the Rhine"!
