I was in the difficult position of selling my current home while also trying to secure the home I wanted to move into. Estelle supported me through both sides of that process. She actively helped me with the purchase, including putting in a backup offer, and I honestly think it would have been very difficult for me to manage everything without her. The selling process was stressful at times, and I was not always the easiest client. Even when I became frustrated, Estelle remained patient and professional and never responded with anger. What impressed me most was the effort she made to achieve the best possible result. She worked hard to bring potential buyers together, made countless calls, encouraged interested parties to attend and bid at the auction, and kept working right up to the final moments. Watching her at the auction, I could see that she was genuinely doing everything she could to keep her promise to me. In the end, she delivered an excellent result, and I came away feeling that she had truly given it her best. She is an absolute star in my eyes.

I was checking out a house on Worcester st, Linwood, Thinking. "This just might be a go"? We hadn't even sold our own house. we were still hurting, as we had previously listed two utterly miserable-disastrous, "failed sale campaigns" with Raine and Horne of St Martins. Never-the-less, This was the first time I had meet James Ellis from Harcourts Holmwood. A quiet, thoughtful type Englishman, relatively new to Christchurch NZ, He knew the details of the house, There were others interested,so be quick. I arranged to show my partner Kate asap. I introduced Kate to James and that was it, Kate fall for James, She decided he would be the one to help us, sell our house. Forget Worcester st. she said, NO "I want James to sell ours". Next we were introduced to Michael Fisher, We both enjoyed meeting him, You could tell, he was perfect as wing-man for James.Wise, experienced, meticulous and considered. James and Michael explained how the Holmwood office worked "as a team" throughout the process, along with Chris Kilkelly office Manager the "voice of reason", they suggested we go to auction, we did, Auctioneer Dan Pengelly visited our home twice, chatted about what we loved about the house, what the sales strategy would be. He got the vibe, hes jolly good fun and obviously enjoys what he does, He also has beautiful eggs. De-clutter, clean, tidy, open Homes,trade caravans, photos, videos, Trade me listing, the works. We went to auction and nothing? Oh no, not again. Everyone was disappointed of course, Yet the Holmwood boys remained positive. WTF ? Deadlines next. , multi offer "Yippee" , well above Cv. GR8 job team. Thank you everyone @ Holmwood. It got a little tricky, but James seamlessly negotiated his way through the issues with the teams support. Josh was very responsive in reply to my messages, always answering every question I asked. The sale was completed fairly quickly from when we went market but unfortunately not quite the price we were after but it was close. Overall we were happy with the outcome and it ment we were able to move on to our next home.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Murray and Karen highly enough. Buying a home is a huge decision, and having them in our corner made the entire process feel so much easier and less stressful. We had quite a specific and niche list of things we were looking for in a property, and they never made us feel like our expectations were too difficult. As the buyer, Chelsea was excellent to deal with. At no stage did I feel any pressure which I half expected after dealing with numerous salespeople previously who are motivated solely by their commissions. Chelsea was insightful about the industry and area and the communication between myself, Chelsea and the vendor was seamless. This told me Chelsea also had a good repore with the vendor. The length of my engagement with Chelsea was short, sweet and without hassle. Complications were encountered with the agreement documentation on confirming the sale due to a technology breakdown and Chelsea went above and beyond to ensure timelines were adhered to.
