One thing that struck me right away was that Nicky was skilled in listening, she really listened to me when I was telling her what the house meant to me and my family, this was a deceased estate, it was our family home. She was able to take what was said and summed it up beautifully when she marketed the property. Her honesty and compassion was another quality that I admire about Nicky, her positive nature regarding the marketing of the property was faultless. We placed a lot of trust in Nicky and I think this allowed her the freedom to be creative. She kept myself and other family members up to date with feedback from open homes and she had support from the Harcourts team who also delivered weekly marketing progress, this information enabled myself and family members to track the progress of the property and this also gave me an insight of the number of people who were looking at the property. As an executor of the estate, there were times when I felt stressed and overwhelmed and Nicky was able to go the extra mile and ease that stress regarding the sale of the home. Nicky was familiar with the property, she was mums Avon lady many years ago and mum really enjoyed her visits, its with this in mind that I know we made the right choice in having Nicky as our agent, there was no other person that was right for us.
