Nicky explained a marketing strategy for my property and made sure I understood it and was happy with the plan. She then listened to my lived experience of 26 years living at my property. Having bought and sold a few properties in the past, we knew exactly what we wanted in the way of a real estate agent. In my opinion, too many sellers are tempted to list with the agent who suggests the highest selling price. Or an agent who is a long term friend. Or someone who lives close to the property being sold. All too often, the agent who suggested the highest selling price is the first one to come along after a few weeks asking that the price be lowered to "meet the market". We wanted an agent with a proven track record selling properties similar to ours. An agent who handles open homes in a professional manner. An agent who knows people in the area and knows how to network with those people. Basically, we wanted an agent that understands marketing. If that agent happens to be a good friend, that's a bonus, but not a requirement. After considerable thought, we felt that we would like to have two agents jointly responsible for selling our property. Nicky makes every question asked feel like an intelligent one (even when it’s probably not), she responds very quickly to any queries and keeps you up with the play. I’m sure I was her only customer during the entire process! I loved the way she slipped into her ‘designer’ gumboots to show prospective buyers the paddocks and how she encouraged Brandon to appear on video in his boxers (it’ll be speedos next time). If you’re buying or selling Nicky is your one stop shop - she has it all and gets results.
