Gary is supportive and knows the ins and outs of the sale journey well. He communicates constantly — even details that might seem superfluous — and that extra communication is better. He is relentless in finding a solution when an obstacle appears. However, when negotiation gets tough, he does need to be reminded that he should stand with the vendor and not revert to a tone of allowing a compromise of the sale price, which works against their customer. This gives a negative impression to the vendor that at the end of the day the agents receive their commission either way, whether or not the vendor’s desired price is achieved. In spite of this, he is well supported by his colleagues, especially Aman Kausal. Once realigned, he will strongly support the vendor and the active endeavor of the main agent.

Aman promised to fight for my interest, and he kept that promise even when there was tremendous pressure to take the buyer’s side. He encouraged me throughout and held to the belief that, despite the risks in the current market, anything is possible for those who believe. He knows his place: he works for the customer, not merely or exclusively for Harcourts. He was relentless in pursuing the best outcome for me.
