Jan-Louise was tireless in organising and managing open homes and an excellent reader of where my house might be positioned in the market. But her real strength lay in working with interested buyers. She had an intuitive grasp of their expectations-as well as the seller’s! When it became clear that the house required a degree of retrospective consent, she remained unflappable, allaying anxiety and maintaining a steady pace towards bringing the property to auction. I suspect that this was in large measure due to her experience which when put together with her ability to judge people conveyed a calm confidence. It was this combination of skills that worked so well to keep me the buyer on track and to allay my anxieties over the process of selling. Additionally, she liased brilliantly with family members who carried much of the administrative load for me. They too were impressed with the way she worked alongside them. Hayden came in and did in 3 months what the 1st agent we used couldn't do in 6 months. He was good to deal with right from the start. He never sat back waiting for buyers to come to him - he was actively advertising and getting feet through the door - not just during open homes, but with private viewings as well. While he had an initial plan, he remained on top of things and was pro-active in adjusting the plan as he needed to - and it delivered the sale in a very tough market.
