It was an awful time to sell with stupidly low offers from people trying to take advantage of a flatline housing market. Peter did his best in a difficult environment. People don't value the work and effort put into house improvements or the value of homeowners who have taken good care of their homes. It was brutal to be honest. The auctioneer was dismissive and arrogant, he raced through details/locations of houses $1.5m or lower value - a disappointing experience for a homeowner and not one I will repeat.

Jack was fantastic to work with. He really listened to what we were wanting to achieve, maintained clear communication throughout the process, and brought a depth of professional knowledge and wisdom to his work. He took the time to build relationships, with us and prospective buyers, and provided sound advice throughout our journey. We first spoke with Eugene about selling our house in 2023, Eugene was very straight forward to deal with, communicated clearly and didn't try a hard sell when the timing wasn't right for us. Fast forward to 2026, we were ready to buy. With very few homes that suited us in the area we wanted, Eugene found the perfect house which we were able to purchase off-market. In a declining and difficult market, Eugene then managed to sell our house at auction for above CV. Throughout the sale process ,Eugene provided clear reports and communication on the marketing, and then what we could expect at auction. Eugene was proactive and responsive, so throughout the whole process there wasn't a time when we needed to chase him. We are happy we chose to work with Eugene and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell.

The Auckland real estate market is a tough one at the moment and Alan personified the saying "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." He went above and beyond, even helping with some touch ups to present the property at its best. When we had offers on the table he continued to line up back offers and it was one of these that we sold to. His efforts ensured we achieved a timely result at a good price.
