Superior Communication, realistic and focused
We vetted a few agents before deciding who to use as our agent to sell. Penelope won the vetting process, and I'm very pleased she did.
To start with, we didn't know which method of sale would be best. Penelope provided an excellent explanation as to why she recommended a particular method (auction in this case) and compared it with other methods as part of the explanation. Her experience in the market was clear from how she explained this to us. As it turns out, we achieved a result beyond all expectations by using the method that Penelope recommended, and in a short period of time.
I found all aspects of the engagement to be excellent. Communication in particular was outstanding. Although Penelope had several other listings at the time, we would never have known it because she was so flexible with meeting times, both for meetings with us and with potential purchasers.
We were kept well informed with market indicators i.e. recent sales of comparable properties, what other comparable properties are currently on the market e.t.c.
When it came time to choose the reserve, I felt that we were well informed. The auction itself was another time that Penelope impressed. During negotiations, she provided reassurance and suggestions, which ultimately resulted in a much higher sale value than we initially thought was achievable.
Penelope maintained a high level of professionalism throughout and was always immaculate with her personal presentation. Whilst being highly professional, she was always very friendly and easy to talk to. A pleasure to deal with.
