About Kelvin

Kelvin Howell AREINZ, I have carved out a very successful career in real estate sales and management since 2003. Besides the vast experience gathered over the years my strength and passion is the training and mentoring of both new sales consultants to the Real Estate profession, and those who have been in the profession for some years. I am proud of the team at Raine & Horne for their professionalism, their enthusiasm and their love of the Real Estate industry. My success can be attributed to a strong focus on marketing and service throughout a campaign plus my commitment to listen and facilitate my clients’ needs. I have experience in selling residential, commercial and lifestyle properties which have provided me with the skills required to negotiate at various levels through to a successful outcome on behalf of both my vendors and purchasers.

About us

Kelvin has devoted his past 20 plus years to realestate, in a profession where many come and go and the longevity of his career speaks volumes. His professionalism dedication and reliability to customer satisfaction has earned him a loyal following of repeat business and accolades from past clients referring their friends and family this is a great honour that he does not take lightly. Having had several jobs in the past and working his way up to management and senior positions mainly in the Transport and Corrections sector Kelvin studied hard to achieve his Diploma in Realestate and worked his way up to Branch Manager and Business owner at one of the top Ray White offices in Canterbury. Still owning his own Franchise with his Partner, the dedication has not changed or faulted over the years. Between them they have 7 Children and 3 Grandchildren which they balance quite nicely and if there is any spare time you may see Kelvin out on a golf course still learning to play that frustrating game or in the warmer weather just to blow out a few cobwebs riding his Harley Davidson to wherever it will take him. To sum it up in a nutshell Kelvins not over the top or trying to be or look like something he’s not, he’s not flashy or arrogant but he is down to earth just like you and me and one thing is for sure he works hard for his clients, and he does get the job done.

Above and Beyond

A consummate professional, Kelvin helped us navigate this experience as first-time vendors while seamlessly managing a very difficult purchaser. Kelvin is highly knowledgeable, he provided us with excellent market insights setting clear and realistic expectations, which he ultimately exceeded. With Kelvins' communication we were never left wondering. The weekly updates provided a great high-level overview. Combine these with regular calls or texts and we always had our finger on the pulse. Great experience! We wouldn't use anyone else in Canterbury.

Great job dispite the downwards trend in the market

We signed up with Kelvin and Jacqui when the market could go either way as it had been booming during Covid but sadly a couple weeks later after we signed up it took a downwards trend but dispite this they still managed to get a fair price for the house with their amazing charisma and charm. Highly recommend them!
