Rods Calm, consistent and reassuring presence
Rod was always transparent about any questions we had regarding our new purchase and would (most of the time) follow up with the information we requested. He was always a calm presence, assuredly answering questions regarding our house purchase, providing knowledge where he could. He knew when to leave us to view and knew when to step in with a quiet honest confidence. We found we could trust Rod and of course that is key to selling. We would recommend him to our friends in the future.

A pleasant property purchase experience
At our initial contact with Emma when we intimated we were looking to purchase a property in the Merivale/Fendalton area of Christchurch, we were asked our budget, and then recommended to look at the property we ultimately bought. Emma was always prompt for meetings, subsequent viewings were easy to arrange, her knowledge of the property excellent, and gave good information on the neighbours and neighbourhood (important). Emma and Sotheby’s were pleasant to work with at the auction and subsequent negotiations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Emma and Sotheby’s to anyone considering buying or selling.

The Dream Team
Kathryn and Rod are not only both caring and friendly, but are both very knowledgeable, professional and skilled at their job. While Kathryn took a more active role in our sales process, both of them were extremely accessible whenever we needed them. Kathryn's communication and willingness to go above and beyond was exceptional. They had the right touch when it came to selling our beloved home - understanding that while we were excited to be moving on with our next chapter, it was still a family home that we had a lot of feelings for. They were both respectful of the process we were going through, and enthusiastic about the potential our house presented to purchasers. They took the time to gain in depth knowledge about our house, its location and the things we treasured most about living here. There is nothing loud or showy about their approach - rather it is marked by a wealth of experience in dealing with, and understanding of people. We had a win-win result at auction with only one bidder, which took both a skilled, empathetic auctioneer (he was) and agent - Kath handled the negotiations with a deft hand, ensuring the completion of our sale process was as smooth as the marketing campaign had been. The personal touches they bring to the job are part of who they both are as people - but also what made them The Dream Team for us.

Calm cool and collected
Matthew Rayner got us through a very tenuous sale process on our property it wasnt an easy process for a number of reasons but he handled it with great proffesionalism, stayed constantly in communication and helped us and the buyer work through the difficulties and remained cool calm and collected at all times.
