Born and raised in Christchurch, Steve commenced a career path in the engineering industry and progressed on to management roles, gaining strong people and listening skills, as well as sales and planning skills with a proven record of success. This isn’t Steve’s first foray into real estate, having started his career when deals were sealed with a handshake and a signature. The decision to join Irelands Real Estate was simple, as it is an established well-known city agency. Steve is pleased to work within a highly professional and skilled team. Steve is married with two adult children and three grandchildren, and he enjoys home renovating, reading, sports and walking/jogging the Port Hills. Previously, I owned and operated a highly successful Real Estate Agency in Fiji for over eight years. During this period, I specialized in selling, leasing, and property management, which allowed me to develop a diverse skill set. My tenure in Fiji honed my ability to manage complex transactions and build lasting relationships with clients from various cultural and economic backgrounds. Outside of my professional life, I am an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular love for soccer. I enjoy engaging in outdoor activities during my free time. I have a young family—my wife, son, and daughter—and I often spend my spare time at my son’s soccer training or games or exploring various outdoor activities with my family. Melissa is known for going the extra mile for her clients, whilst always keeping communications open and regular. As the Managing Director of the company her vision is for unparalleled levels of service experienced by all Irelands Real Estate clients. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Technology and a Diploma in Business Administration, both from Massey University. She also holds a New Zealand Real Estate Agent’s license which enables her to lead a team of licensed Salespeople. Melissa started her real estate career in 2005 and she has developed a reputation for working hard and making the selling or renting process easy. She is focused on delivering the best possible results in the shortest period of time. Melissa treats all of her clients with the utmost care, courtesy and the strictest confidentiality. Melissa and her husband Marty thoroughly enjoy walking in and around Hagley Park in the mornings to get the energy levels kick started for the day. She also enjoys tramping, music, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
