I initially approached Julie Hurley of Harcourts, Khandallah, on recommendation of a family friend. Julie had moved to Auckland and she highly recommended Layne Hughes. Julie had chosen Layne to market her own house which was recommendation in itself. Layne was easy to work with most of the time, she had a very good market knowledge and communicated this well. Her Vendor's Reports were also very helpful. However, at the crucial time when the offer was presented we felt there was undue pressure to rush the decision as we were not allowed the time we had requested to talk together as a family. This negatively impacted on the final price we got for the house and this, combined with the downturn in the market meant the final result although we accepted it, was disappointing. We acknowledge it is not straight forward process, dealing with multiple parties when selling a house, so Layne did well under the circumstances.

Di was recommended by my friends who suggested she would be the best person to manage our sale experience. She certainly was!
