Earlier in the year I purchased my new home with Michelle . It was a pleasure buying with Michelle because she was obliging, professional, honest and at no point pressurising . This was evidenced by her showing me more than one property. She understood my needs and had such a lovely calm way about her. I visited more than one of her open homes and watched her interact with other potential buyers and she treated each and everyone with respects Prior to the settlement I had a significant medical event and Michelle went above and beyond, and nothing was a problem. Bruce was a good neighbour and friend to my mother. I decided to go with Bruce and the Bayleys team as I found him to be extremely professional, hard working and highly knowledgeable and experienced. Because I am from Hawkes Bay, Bruce called me one day and said he had some leftover paint from his house and would it be okay to paint the inside of the garage which he done a fabulous job. That is the type of guy he is. Thanks to Bruce and his team member Liz Woodall we managed to sell the house within 6 weeks being on the market. If I was ever to sell this home in The Wood that I've just made my own, through Michelle Sowman, I would ask her to be my sales agent. While real estate agents are, of course, working to get the best price for vendors, I found Michelle was sensitive to my personal situation and the hopes and plans I had, as someone buying 'solo' for the first time. I quickly fell for this wee corner of the city, and, to my delight, I've found myself surrounded by the good, old-fashioned care of great neighbours. Michelle certainly did her job, securing a price for these vendors that was well above the expected estimate. So, while I stretched my budget, the past three or four weeks here have shown me it has all been worth it. The Wood is Good - and Michelle's knowledge of this neighbourhood is excellent! Very happy!
