Shane took over from a previous Agent from within the Barfoot & Thompson Team, he was motivated and clearly there to help with anything he could, he was honest and explained everything in detail which replaced our trust towards Agents. He kept us up to date with everything sending through weekly reports, weekly meetings with us to explain what was happening. Shane also brought his daughter on board Kaitlin how is new to the industry (apart from having Dad doing it) and she was absolutely wonderful and helpful also. We highly recommend Team Groom with Selling your home, we haven’t had the pleasure yet with purchasing a New Home with Team Groom but can definitely guarantee we will have the pleasure in the new year when we go to buy a New Home as there is no one else out there I would trust with honesty and been upfront. I had met Shane approximately 12 months prior to deciding to sell my home. At that time he was conducting Open Homes in a 55's plus Lifestyle Village, in Tuakau. During our conversations I found his knowledge and advise of each property informative and felt that his 'no push mannerismn' was quite refreshing. When I was offered the opportunity for a private sale [to purchase a unit in the same complex this year] I immediately contacted Shane. Not only did he do justice in his advertisement for my existing property, but also reviewed the Sale & Purchase Agreement for my private purchase, for which he would receive no commission fee.
