We had 3 months to sell and Karen did it in a week - and we had two offers to choose from. Everything was of the highest standard and nothing was too much effort. The photos were brilliant. We employed Liam to sell our late mother’s home – a secluded lifestyle property. We realised going into the sale that the property had no code of compliance, throwing him a serious curve ball. Along with this the property was built in the early 2000s with a cladding that had drawn a stigma about it. None of this fazed him, he came up with a strategy on how to market and sell the property and over the campaign we had over 100 groups view the property. We went with a tender process and received a great result at the conclusion of the campaign. All four of us (as siblings) were all very involved and while Liam reported mostly to my sister and I, as Executor’s, he had ongoing contact with all of us and kept us well informed. We had several companies appraise the property but it was a gut feeling that made us choose Liam. His insight into the area and even beyond showing us variables with different properties in different areas on the Kapiti Coast, definitely helped in our decision to engage him. Liam was always extremely professional and definitely came with a can do attitude. We were so impressed we engaged him to sell a second property as part of our mother’s estate. Karen really knows the local market and her extensive experience made the whole process easy. She always followed up with a phone call after the open homes to share how they went. Karen was very patient and gave many suggestions to help get the property ready for sale and her marketing was spot on. We found Karen to be extremely professional in her approach, yet also friendly. Karen has a good knowledge of the Kapiti area, house values and the market in general. When we asked for her opinion we believe we got an honest answer, not something that would give unrealistic expectations. Nothing was too much and Karen assisted with access to the house for staging and carpet layers. Overall Karen was a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend her.
