We had not used Kim before, but had two friends recommend her, and definitely are pleased we listed with her. She went out of her way to help us out as we were busy on the farm, and even drove 1 hour out to sign us up and back again to give us the selling offer, selling the house before the deadline date. She helped set the house up, as we were an hour away, and got tradesmen in to fix a few things, and after we sold, recommended tradesmen to help with the closing, to make it good for the incoming purchasers. Three other agents were interviewed as well as Mike when we were looking for an agent. Mike appeared to have the best knowledge of the area and put forward the best approach to the sale. His marketing strategy did not call for much expenditure on our part but showed good straight forward common sense based on his knowledge of the area. He had helpful suggestions on things to be done to prepare for the sale and helped get tradesmen to fix things. He conducted effective open homes from which he obtained further knowledge of market inclinations. The house sold after four weeks on the market just before the covid lockdown in March 2020. Tina sold my house in Taupo. It had been rented for a few years and was in poor condition. Tina viewed the property before the tenants moved out and then advised me in respect of whether to carry out work to improve the home or sell as is. Tina was extremely informative in respect of other sales in the area and provided appraisals for both scenarios. She assisted me with finding trades people to quote and with getting the house staged for marketing. Tina provided feedback on a regular basis from open homes and viewings.
