We started our real estate journey with Adrian over 3 months ago when we shared with him our dream of moving to a lifestyle property. For this to happen we needed to list and sell two properties, let alone find our dream property! We found our new home early on in the process and Adrian calmly and professionally navigated us through the process, including the Christmas shutdown in the middle of it, to eventually come out with two sales and a successful offer on our new home. Adrian's knowledge of the market and specifically the quirks and nuances of a lifestyle property to the uneducated buyer is exceptional. Adrian and his team worked hard to sell my property in adverse conditions. I listed: Just after the peak of the market In a falling market Just before Autumn He made all the weekend open homes happen and with plenty of timing warning. The level of communication about the market, trends and contacts was impressive and his requesting and arranging weekday viewings was the reason I rolled over the sales contract. With the market becoming more stable he was able to secure a contract and I get to move closer to elderly family.

Overall, we had a good experience selling our home. Our property was on the market for around five weeks, and throughout the campaign we appreciated the clear and consistent communication from our agent. We were kept well informed after every open home, with honest feedback about prospective buyers and some realistic discussions around price expectations, which helped us understand the market and make informed decisions. From the beginning, we weren't completely convinced that auction was the right sales method for our property. While we understood the reasoning behind the recommendation, our home didn't sell at auction, as we had anticipated, and the additional auction costs were disappointing. In hindsight, we feel those costs could have been avoided. Following the auction, our agent remained committed to achieving a sale and ultimately secured a cash buyer. Although the final sale price was lower than we had hoped, we recognise that it reflected the current market conditions rather than a lack of effort on the agent's part. Our only other reservation was the commission. At around $36,000, it is a considerable fee, and while we understood and agreed to the commission structure when we signed the contract, we couldn't help but feel it was high relative to the work involved. Overall, our agent was professional, approachable, and communicated well throughout the process. While there are aspects of the experience we would have preferred to be different, we appreciate the work that went into achieving a sale in a challenging market and would recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced real estate agent.
