Sharyn’s path into real estate has been shaped by a lifelong connection to the rural sector and a genuine passion for working with people and the land. Based in the Nelson and Tasman regions, she specialises in rural and lifestyle properties, bringing both practical experience and a deep understanding of the communities she works with. Now in her tenth year in real estate, Sharyn has earned a reputation for being approachable, knowledgeable, and refreshingly straightforward. Her background, however, stretches well beyond property. With more than 30 years in the sheep and wider agricultural industries, she offers insight that only comes from hands-on experience. After studying at Lincoln University, Sharyn spent 14 years as a wool buyer for a New Zealand exporting company, sourcing for premium Italian and Japanese spinning mills. This role saw her working closely alongside farmers, building strong relationships and gaining a real appreciation for the challenges and priorities of rural life. She later joined The New Zealand Merino Company as an Area Manager, where she spent 13 years supporting high-country farming clients across Central Otago, the Mackenzie Country, and Canterbury. These years further cemented her connection to the land and strengthened her ability to build lasting, trusted relationships. Known for her strong work ethic and down-to-earth approach, Sharyn brings integrity and honesty to every transaction. She genuinely enjoys the variety that real estate offers, saying it’s “an exciting and challenging industry - the people we meet and the incredible places we get to visit and bring to the market are a real highlight.” The diversity of the Nelson and Tasman regions continues to inspire her, with no two days ever the same - from sheep and beef farms to horticulture, dairy, and lifestyle properties, sometimes all in a single day. Sharyn lives with her husband and their two Pugs at their home by the sea, where she enjoys entertaining and relaxing with friends and family. Otherwise, you’ll find her out mountain biking on any one of the great tracks the region has to offer.
