A Standout From the Start
We liked many different qualities of each of the various agents who appraised our home.
A clear grasp of the realities of a declining market, able to relate with ease to us, intuitive feel for house and garden potential while looking past the family type mess and clutter, clarity of advice in how to maximize that potential with a young family living in the home during listing, enough information, but not overwhelming, flexibility, practical, down to earth approach for coping with the open homes and viewings, resourceful, able to supply useful trade links to well-priced contractors for eg.staging, painting, builders, carpeting, loads of energy, availability whenever needed, well judged marketing plan, personal warmth and good communication.
But in Lou we found in one agent a person who combined all the above qualities.
Our sale took only two weeks from the listing date to obtain an offer in the range we needed and accepted.

We were careful to follow Lou's advice to the letter in house presentation.
She and Matt gained our utmost respect in arriving prior to open homes and getting stuck in boots and all with cleaning cloths and spray and wipe, dealing to whatever bits we hadn't quite got to.
It could have been a stressful few months, given constraints with toddlers and our tight time restrictions -to allow purchase of another property, plus selling in a difficult and slowing market.
But Lou and her colleague Matt provided just the right amount of hand- holding for us and amazingly even for the purchase of the next property.
