My background prior to entering the real estate industry was in retail, which naturally led me into real estate. For a number of years, I have been achieving successful sales outcomes for clients. In this role, I have been fortunate to meet and support a wide range of people across the Southland community, and these relationships continue to grow. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise from the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) in Invercargill. This provided me with a broad range of skills, including working with groups, research, legal and business studies, and computer technology. I applied these skills while coaching athletes to World, Commonwealth, and national levels. This experience has given me strong relationship-building skills, which are vital in real estate. Having previously pursued a career in cycling and sport, family life became much busier with the arrival of our triplets in 2005. We understand the demands of busy families and the importance of strong connections within Southland. I have a strong work ethic, am diligent, and remain committed to ongoing professional development within the industry. Working alongside my wife Natalie, we can provide clients with a personalised service and can move quickly due to owning our own business — Selling with Confidence! My first job was in the local Lands and Deeds and Companies Office, dealing with local businesses and their land and company registration requirements. After gaining a B Com at Otago University, I worked in conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney, family trusts, estate, and investment planning. I then moved into a leadership role leading a team throughout the Southland, and Central Otago Regions, in client service and sales. A family, self-employment and a stint at a local bank followed while working for the local tertiary education provider. Continuing to study, I have completed my Master of Applied Management, specialising in regulation in the residential housing market.
