I ignored all the usual dribble about how nice people were and how they belonged to the community etc etc. We also took little notice of real estate awards as they reflect volume sold, not margins achieved on price. I spread sheeted individual agents (or pairs in Zoltan and Devon's case) sale price achieved against Council valuation in 2018,and against Homes.co.nz mid point and high point estimate for sale price. Zoltan and Devon were the most consistent for getting a better price percentage wise against indicators for the time period sold. We interviewed one other agent and he failed on a technical question to do with negotiation techniques (Devon passed).
