We had talked about selling our "lifestyle" block for a while but the time was never right. It took James to persuade us that Wanaka was different to the rest of NZ. He provided a comprehensive market appraisal in which we were pleasantly surprised where our property sat. We weren't in a hurry. So we listed it with Harcourts, where J was, and 6 months later had a buyer We had achieved very close to what their market appraisal said! J was wonderful through-out: great at following up those who attended Open Homes, always there if we needed him, good at taking the initiative in arranging things we needed to do as part of the sale, very helpful in selling off stuff we hadn't sold with the house, and as patient as you could wish for with two older sellers making their first move in a while. He even gave us a good steer about what to do with our surplus funds once we had sold! We would recommend him to anyone.
