Before we listed, we spoke to the top three agents in the area and asked each of them to appraise our house. All of the agents had great reviews online and seemed really nice. We can't fault any of them, but Daniel just came out on top as a really genuine, friendly and practical guy that we resonated with and had a good gut feeling about. He appraised our place 10-20% than the other agents, and a little higher than what we thought we could achieve. We were really impressed how much he backed himself to get what he said the place was worth. Before even signing the agency agreement, Daniel had plenty of useful feedback about what work was worth doing to prep the property, and what was a waste of time. We agreed with his logic on the method of sale, and the ideal buyer. The market wasn't frothy when we listed for sale, but we had several offers, and Daniel helped guide us to get a conditional sale for a really good price. We were super happy with the price, and it was much higher than other agents had appraised it at and more than we expected to get. During the conditional period, Daniel was hugely hands-on with interpreting the buyer's requests, and even got under the house himself to sort out one of the buyer's building report issues. He referred us to a good plumber and a good sparky who made things happen at short notice during a busy period to get the agreement unconditional.
