Selling the house wasn’t as simple as call up an agent and Chuck it on the market, you’re lucky if it is. For us we had several agents view our property, some with similar commission rates some with the same experience and some cheaper. Brent saw the potential in the property and gave us awesome advice that others had said not to touch the property and let others make the improvements. So after our initial meeting April 2021, we followed Brent’s advice and it definitely paid off. From previous experience and the money we spent doing up the property we certainly made much more than if we had left it for others to do, and with the market in this current state, that’s no mean feat. We were still under no obligation to go with Brent but felt that he had the best take on the market. Apart from his expertise, it’s clear that he is happy to take the time to just listen. We must have had conversations where there was little to do with the sale of the property but just getting to know us and what we were really about. Brent’s team is just like that. They listen, reflect and give honest appraisals. Due to Covid issues we also dealt with Andre as well as others in the team. Andre is just as driven, hard working and nothing seemed like too much of an ask. On the team that Brent runs, I haven’t come across that level of great communication even as a teacher. We were kept up to date tirelessly and as my wife mentioned to them, that personal touch of leaving voice memos was a great personal touch in the WhatsApp message centre. Hearing their voices and the excitement they conveyed rather than just reading a text meant a huge deal to us as people who work in a peoples centred environment. Needless to say, all their hard work in the background paid off for us in so many ways, not just financially. It all felt pretty effortless- apart from the continual tidying for open homes and private viewings- we will always be in their debt. Great team, great work ethic, great people.
