Max worked for me as a buyers agent for a property I purchased in October 2025. I was looking for a do-er upper-erer for my second property, partly due to money constraints and partly due to wanting something to add value to. After a coffee, some number crunching, shading in a diagram of the areas I was interested in, and a few chats and open homes, Max introduced me to a stunning 3 bedroom methamphetamine-"contaminated" property which seemed like the bargain I was looking for! It was sold as-is by Kainga Ora and already had a decent amount of the work already done with it being stripped of its flooring and window coverings. This also meant it was cheap! Worst house on the best street, the classic real estate bargain cliché. Max was very open to my very honest (blunt) feedback but that set him apart from other agents I was talking to, for being a real one, and I appreciated transparency and opnenness about the real estate market and Harcourts' processes (as well as other agencies). It was easy to know where I stood and communication was excellent. Thanks Max for the support on the complex process of buying a house and navigating various factors that would have probably left me still on the market and frustrated. Happy to recommend him as a real estate professional and for anyone navigating the Christchurch real estate market.

Max took us on as clients in a time where we honestly weren’t sure if we were going to be able to find a home that meet all our expectations. Max worked with us to understand what we were after and accompanied us to many open homes while being so incredibly patient with us while we figured out if we could see our self in each and every home we saw. Max worked with us and was very flexible to make everything work around our busy life styles and was supportive right up until settlement day. Max made the process of buying our first home a lot less stressful and more enjoyable then we thought it would. 10/10 would recommend

We had a very short window to make a successful sale coming into the December shutdown period. Clarence moved really quickly onboarding us as clients and organising property cleanup, staging, photography and marketing processes. The results were quite literally immediate. We had the first off-market offer as these processes were ongoing. We were able to close the sale within 5 working days of listing. An amazing result in what others would say is a subdued market. Amazing to work with Clarence and the team and look forward to doing more with you mate!
