We first met Dirk several years ago at an open home, this was when he was first starting his real estate career, it turns out we were Dirk's first ever listing and we can tell he remains grateful for the opportunity we extended way back when. Fast forward a few years and a few kids later and it became time for us to upsize as we'd out grown our current property. Dirk is now vastly more experienced but he remains as enthusiastic and approachable as ever. In the build up to our auction day we witnessed Dirk's work ethic in trying to secure as many buyers as possible for auction day, we needed a certain figure to make the next move viable and Dirk shook ever tree and turned over every rock in order to get the result we wanted. He openly delivered us good news while taking the same approach with bad news. Come auction day when we hadn't met our reserve and were beginning to feel deflated Dirk stepped his work ethic up another gear, he was like a dog with a bone and he wasn't giving up until we got the result we needed - and we got it! We've used Dirk twice now and guarantee when the time is right we will use him a third time!

I have know Dirk for several years and to date have conducted 4 real estate transaction with him - both as a buyer and a seller. While Dirk is a full on real estate professional and deserving of his high achiever recognition he's also a good dude. He always has a smile on his face, takes the time to chat to each of my kids when he sees them and is quick with a witty quip. I have utter faith in Dirk and wouldn't view a property without him and I certainly wouldn't sell a property with anyone but him. Tauranga is full of agents some of them good and some of them not soo good but Dirk is certainly great.

When we bought our new property, the market was most certainly a sellers’ market and competition amongst buyers was fierce; it was like Dirk said your either quick or your homeless. Dirk did all he could to help us get to decision making time as fast possible, he met us at the property several times including after hours when we could both make it and he never made it seem like we were a chore. We both found him to be professional and funny meaning what could have been a truly stressful time was a lot less stressful plus we had the benefit a fair few laughs along the way. For anyone buying or selling you'd be a fool not to use Dirk and his team.

To say that working with you to find our dream home was a pleasure would be a severe understatement. Not only did you go above and beyond during the whole process, but it was obvious that you put your heart and soul into learning about your clients needs and wishes. We worked with you for only a week or two during a very difficult time, due to low deposit and new restrictions for first time home buyers, and every step of the way you were extremely empathetic to our situation which made the whole process so much easier for us than it could have been. We had previously worked with a few different agents who put little time and effort into finding our home. Life changes meant we needed to sell up and move our family to another city.
