Steve was great to deal with throughout the whole process from start to finish. As first home buyers, we had plenty of questions and he was always patient, approachable, and happy to help. Communication was clear and he made the process as straightforward as possible. Always drove us in the right direction. Thanks for all your help Steve we really appreciate it

Steve was lovely to deal with and was beyond helpful in selling our beach house. We would most certainly recommend him to anyone selling. Ditto for Wendy who was so very helpful and generous with her time.

Paula made a commitment to us, and she kept to her word. Paula worked hard, and often above and beyond. Paula has been with us in our property journey, for a number of years now, and is our go to for real estate knowledge. She is amazing to work with, and deserved every bit or recognition for getting our sale over the line. We appreciate everything she has done for us, and wouldn't hesitate contacting Paula again.

Initially it was agreed to try and sell the property at Auction. This took place in December 2025 and was passed in with no bidders. Subsequently one couple were interested but had to sell their Kiwi Fruit property first. Also another couple put in a bid which we did not accept because of conditions and 2 week time frame given. over the next 12 months the interested couple extended the contract numerous times and as they still did not have a buyer for their block. At the Agents request we also lowered our asking price. Then in October last Rhys presented us with an agreement which although not at the price we wanted was unconditional with a good settlement date which we accepted We understand that Rhys had to strongly suggest that the sale price be increased substantially otherwise we would not even look at it. At one stage during this process we were asked to not even be present when the proposed purchasers had another look through our residence. This we found somewhat annoying. Subsequently the deposit was paid a day late and since that date we have not heard from Rhys, apart from one brief phone call. As Rhys knew we are shifting to New Plymouth and were planning to look for properties down there we would have appreciated him contacting his New Plymouth counterparts to see if they could assist us in our search. Sadly this did not happen, but we have now found a suitable property through another Agency. We now await full settlement on the 20th of February next. If we were being honest we both thought we might've seen Rhys after the contract was signed but his commission was deducted from the deposit and to date that has been it. Rhys did tell us how much he had sold and his rating throughout Bayleys NZ, but unfortunately we feel his after sales service was lacking. Our opinions were based on our previous house sales and how we ran our own businesses. We are all different, but in the sales game the most important person is the client.
