I couldn’t believe my luck the day my agent came to present a sales proposal for the sale of my Hillcrest property. With her was a young agent working with her. Little did I expect he was going to turn what had been a very difficult preparation of getting my house to market on its head. The property I was selling was my first home (purchased over 30 years ago). In recent years the property has been tenanted. At the time of putting the property on the market it was not furnished and had developed a few minor maintenance issues that needed to be addressed (bumps/scuffs on walls and the like). Verena arranged for staging (temporary furnishings) and the R&M issues to be attended to in a way that the property’s benefits could be appropriately assessed by potential buyers.
