After selling my property privately I was struggling to find a new home on my own. I met Sam at a Lodge Open Home and was immediately impressed by his friendly and professional manner. Sam offered to send me details of properties which met my "wish list" and was true to his word. Without pressure we viewed several options and I soon found one that suited me. It was marketed by another company and to be sold by auction, a method which was completely unfamiliar to me. Sam was able to explain the process and ensured that I was well-prepared for the event. He bid on my behalf and supported me during a stressful negotiation to achieve a positive outcome. Prior to, during and after settlement day Sam stayed in touch and made sure that I was adequately prepared with capacity to move, felt familiar with my new house and set up to use my new "mod cons". I am very happy and can now relax and enjoy my new home and neighbourhood. The team were always timely and ready to be flexible to meet our needs and requests. Also understood when we couldnt do things that were expected, and found ways to make things work. Even though we were not the vendor in this instance, and that they clearly outlined they worked for the vendor - we felt they went above and beyond to understand our needs and concerns as a buyer- and in the end used this knowledge to help both the vendor and buyer so all our needs were met.

Rachel's nature brought compassion, respect and clear, honest communication to the table during the whole process. Her professionalism was outstanding and I felt supported throughout the sales journey. She went the extra mile, watering plants and vacuuming when I was away out of town. She also took time out of her weekends to help me view potential properties to purchase. I have sold a few properties, however this experience with Rachel and the wider Sothebys team, was hands down the best.
