Initially all went well when I was shown through the property. I wasn’t intending going as small as I have, so it took a while for me to adjust to that. With myself being Marissa’s Mum, and showing an interest in the property it made sense for Marissa to step right back and let Maria handle the purchasing process. That way there is then no conflicts of interest. Maria was great, there was no pressure, was available to talk to me at any point, as with me being single and handling buying can be very daunting. For me, once I had decided to put in an offer, at that point I started to get excited and wanted things to happen straight away, as I had already been looking for around 18 months. Some times it doesn't work that way, but Maria stayed positive and never gave up. It also took longer, as with being a family member of an Agent there was an Independent Valuation which had to be done by us once offer had been accepted. That was when the stress set in, as that took almost a week with a couple of blips to boot. Maris stepped in and made sure all was sorted. Maria has made things, especially over the last couple of weeks, so less stressful. Has answered, or followed up on anything I needed to know and just going that extra mile. Helping me with measurements, organising a new Electricity Account, Broadband and Phone providers. An absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing was a problem. Marissa has helped me with all of the Legal side of things regarding documents etc. Both of these girls work so well together, which make them a great Team, and are very well respected around the Devonport Community.

Jack Lee and the team at Ray Whites have done an excellent job of marketing and selling our original family home. He was patient as I nervously went through the decisions required on the loss of a parent and was there - and not constantly annoying - which was what made using him the right decision. He came again with Craig and they spent extra time understanding how special our property is and the history and lifestyle of it. His follow-up after open days was on point and both myself and obviously the buyers were impressed.
