Josh was very professional from our very first point of contact. He possessed great knowledge of properties that had sold in the local area. Being a deceased estate, Josh took control by dealing with the lawyer and the executors as well as keeping the family included in all of the communication. We felt very reassured that Josh had everything under control and guided us through each step. We were always updated very quickly after each open home. On auction day we all felt very much at ease that Josh had all the boxes ticked and we actually enjoyed the whole auction process and achieved a great outcome at auction. We highly recommend Josh without any hesitation.

We met Josh after he sold another property in the neighbourhood. We were blown away with his knowledge of the area and his let’s get it done attitude. EVEN though it took a lot longer to sell our property due to various factors Josh was there every open home with his music and box of chocolates waiting for vendors to arrive. While the sales took longer it wasn’t from Josh’s lack of attitude it was tweaking the listings the layout the staging to get the job done. If one thing didn’t work we tried another Josh was like “ A dog with a bone” trying various ways to get the deal done. His advice was Golden and the perseverance paid off with the property SOLD. We would recommend Josh to any potential seller so you can use his knowledge to get your property sold

I’ve toured hundreds of properties in my time, and as a motivated offshore Kiwi buyer, I can say Hannah made this the smoothest transaction I’ve ever had. We closed our apartment in record time because she handled every detail with efficiency and precision. She hosted my daughter like a pro, was completely transparent about the “yeah/nah” factors (from potential build-outs next door to the one seal replacement that would inevitably pop up in an otherwise spotless building report), and nailed the paperwork — saving me legal time as my lawyer completed DD. Nothing was too much trouble: extra viewings, chasing measurements, clarifying details — all delivered with a delightful Scouse accent that my football-mad family considered the icing on the cake. If you want someone who cuts to the quick without the bullshit, I highly recommend Hannah. Now, if we can just build some equity and grab another property from her! P.S. And she's just lovely.

Clive was a great agent to work with. He was very quick with his communications via message and calling. He answered any and all questions we had promptly, regarding properties, and the buying process. Clive is experienced in the West Auckland area, and gave us up to date info on the trends of the market in this area, and found different properties to suggest, that we may not have considered at first. His negotiation skills are very good. He was clear telling us prices that properties would likely go for, and recommended offering in certain price ranges to have more success if we wanted to make an offer. However, when we offered lower than these on some cases, he was supportive and respective of our decisions. Clive was professional from the moment we met him. He communicated clearly and helped us through the signing of documents as it was our first home. We’re thankful for his help, and we wish him the best! We’ll be in touch in the future!

I walked into Barfoot & Thompson wanting to sell my property of 34 years, one of the BIGGEST decisions,damaged from tenants, not knowing where, how , to start that process. The first meeting , Clive , listened ,and showed examples of properties, in the same state (close to) ,in the area . Suggesting Auction would be the best for the situation, He was very informative, and had a very calm disposition, I left hopeful, RELIEVED, and reassured with the circumstances surrounding my decision. .Tenants moved out I contacted him again and got the ball moving in January 19th/20th 2026. We went through current market pricing for the area , examples of properties , I asked all the questions I could , he gave me all the information I needed ,to follow through ,to sort things, eg clearing the property of a caravan, how , with who..? Left with the Agency Agreement that day, and the following days after ,I was contacted with updates and schedules and vice versa he was available for unplanned calls and txt from me. His knowledge, guidance ,reassurance , made it easy to understand and make clear unpressured decisions moving forward. Clives professional marketing of the property, eg..photography , the headliner for the sale of the property, was above and beyond my expectations . Pre-auction offer was made, 2 weeks before scheduled live auction date it was a whirlwind from then. Clive put in a lot of groundwork within that 3 days,sending through documents to sign off on, making sure there enough agents perspective buyers at the auction.The actual auction was 15min . It sold for well and truly over the reserve price well beyond what I truly expected , on February the 18th a month after I first met Clive . I’m so grateful & appreciative of Clive and team at B&T Royal Heights .I would highly recommend his services if you are buying or selling property, it was a personable yet professional experience overall So happy and grateful. Clive had good market knowledge and provided a realistic market appraisal. Having readied the property for sale expectations were raised to thinking I could sell on the higher side of the appraisal but this did not happen. Clive went above and beyond what was expected as I had water in the basement and he went to check on it during bad weather and advised on what was necessary to fix it. He also had to deal with keeping the cat inside while open homes were on. Clive was always on time for open homes and gave thorough weekly feedback. During negotiations when selling Clive was very helpful in how to approach these to get the best possible outcome. Selling over the summer holiday was tricky but Clive made it a positive experience.
