Steve has a unique style in real estate that may not initially appeal to everyone. However, this is precisely why you should consider him as your agent! His great sense of humour, passion for fishing, and genuine interest in people and the world may deter some sellers or buyers, but they shouldn’t. When we were looking for an agent to sell our home, we spoke with many before choosing Steve Trotter. We asked ourselves what we wanted from an agent beyond just a sale. Did we want someone who presented themselves honestly to us or one who tried to appeal falsely to suit? Did we need an agent who was transparent and dedicated to our best interests or one focused on their own agenda? Did we prefer an agent who could relate to people from all walks of life or one who came off as aggressive and uncomfortable, potentially turning buyers away? Although I’m not interested in fishing like Steve and my husband are, I recognised that it served as an excellent way to relate and spark conversations.
