Joanna was very careful to understand our needs and us as people. She kept in touch very well by phone, text and email, but was never intrusive. She had a good knowledge of the market and drew on Bower's wider experience to fill in any gaps. The purchase of our property from Joanna was not at all straight forward and spanned us moving between 4 countries and time zones from first viewing online to final settlement. Joanna was not phased at all and went out of her way to send us videos of the property and keep us informed via WhatsApp at every step. As buyers we had been given the brush off by many agents we had contacted after seeing property online - ‘come to the open home’ they said. A bit difficult whilst living overseas. Joanna really listened to our story and whilst supporting every single little step of the process helped us to achieve our goal of moving back to New Zealand. Waking up this morning, different time zone to NZ, to her message Congratulating us on settlement and that she will go and vacuum one last time before saying goodbye to the house! She really takes the process to heart and has looked after us and the house with love and patience. We could not be more grateful and thankful that we met Joanna who has been our steady guiding light as overseas buyers as we were dismissed by many and put in the too hard basket. Along with bringing coffee to our first viewing of the property once we were able to get to New Zealand, and being patient while we spent several hours looking at everything and getting a feel for the place, Joanna arranged quickly and effortlessly fixing of small issues and provided numbers for Insurance brokers, Building inspectors, Solicitors and Tree surgeons. I absolutely cannot recommend Joanna enough to anyone but specifically if you are an overseas seller or buyer she is the person you need!
