She knew that the selling of mum’s unit was very sensitive and would require careful negotiation and handing with my other brother who was still living at the property. But mum’s property had to be sold to pay for my mother’s 24/7 residential care. Ferne met with myself and brother and was friendly, helpful, kind and caring in her manner and knew what would be required when it came to looking at the best way to sell the property. Ferne’s communication and sharing of information was outstanding throughout the whole procedure from designing a sales pitch, open homes, type of sale - deadline, required advertising and so forth. A deadline sale was met with two sale agreements on the table and the sale that did go through was one both my brother and I were happy wth given the current real estate market and meeting our needs. Following a warm recommendation from another of Trent's clients, we interviewed and appointed Trent our agent to sell our mother's St Heliers Bay apartment. From the outset, Trent demonstrated a deep understanding of property generally, the currently fickle market and the angles that were available to us to secure a sale. Trent helped us navigate the Council's building compliance requirements and gave consistently sound advice on all manner of things from how the property should be staged and who we might use to marketing recommendations and strategic decisions. Trent was always extremely contactable. Hardly a day passed during the whole campaign when we didn't hear from Trent - and often it was several times in one day. Although we were aware that Trent was also acting for a number of other vendors at the same time, it never felt like it. One Ray White offering that Trent maintained assiduously was their online feedback facility. This enabled us at any time to check on Trent's progress with the various potential purchasers that had enquired about the property. We were impressed by Trent's obvious concern that both he and we met our ethical obligations as agent and vendors at all times. Trent showed enormous energy throughout.
