When we decided to list our lifestyle property, I approached Sotheby's, Bayleys and Mint. Nic was the only person who showed up having clearly done extensive background digging on our property and the only one who we felt understood the uniqueness of our listing and needs. She quickly uncovered a major issue with inaccurate land-slip information and, without hesitation, began engaging with HDC and HBRC multiple times, both on our behalf and for thousands of other people in Hawke's Bay who would be affected by the issue. The matter was finally resolved; without her tenacity and determination, I doubt this would have been the case and would still be dragging on. During the house sale process, Nic gave unflinching good advice, provided regular updates and worked tirelessly to achieve the best outcome for us. She was always responsive to questions and even helped support us with excellent advice around our next property purchase. We had previously discussed with Nic our intention to sell this particular property at some stage in the future but, at no time did Nic pressure us into listing it until we were ready to. There were no pushy phone calls or emails, just courtesy and a level of professionalism that is uncommon these days. Nic facilitated the sale process and negotiated the best outcome for us. She offered solutions to every problem and regarded challenges as detours rather than roadblocks. Nic has a well developed network of contacts both locally and New Zealand wide and there was no question of interviewing other agents for a better deal or better service. Nic facilitated the production of an exquisite video and set of photos to promote the sale of our property and maintained her professionalism when some challenges occurred during the campaign. She always had the interests of her vendors foremost in her mind. Nic’s knowledge and experience dealing with local government, developers and other organisations allowed us to make an informed decision at the end of the sale period.
