After a visit to a local Te Kauwhata cafe in 2012 I fell in love with our beautiful township, which then put into motion a house hunt, a relocation from the bustling city of Auckland, and the arrival of my first born. I have lived in the Te Kauwhata/Waerenga district all my life and feel I have a great knowledge of the area. I have seen this area grow and change over the years from a small village to a larger and diverse area. I am an energetic, ambitious person with a friendly personality who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task I undertake. I previously was involved in banking for many years before I had my three children. I was involved in the local Waerenga playgroup as treasurer for many years along with being involved in the Waerenga primary school as part of the PTA and also worked part time as a teacher aide. I still have one child at the Waerenga Primary school. I enjoy living in Waerenga as it is a great place to bring up a family. My husband Brett and myself own and run a beef and sheep farm in the Waerenga Valley which we have done so for 30 years. I enjoy working with people and feel my communication skills are excellent. I am honest, hardworking and would go out of my way to achieve the best possible results for my clients whether they are buying or selling their property.

Colin began his successful real estate career with Riverlands in September 2004 with the majority of this time being based in Te Kauwhata. He is local having grown up and farmed at the southern end of Lake Waikare and then living west of Rangiriri since 2001. Having made a successful transition from farming to other investments and income streams, Colin has successfully established himself in residential and lifestyle sales in and around Te Kauwhata. Colin has been a partner in a successful residential development in Te Kawhata located in Merlot Place and has a sound understanding of development processes. Colins ability to listen and identify peoples needs, his sound and expansive local knowledge combined with a positive attitude towards the progress of Te Kauwhata makes him a valued member of our Te Kauwhata team.

I am at present actively involved in Real Estate with Riverlands Real Estate Ltd and have worked from that office since 1997. Previous to becoming involved in Real Estate my wife and I owned and operated a successful Orchard and Retail Shop. At present we own a Kiwifruit farm. I have lived in the North Waikato area for the majority of my life with my wife Valerie and we have three adult children and at present seven grandchildren. I have been involved in the community in a number of organisations and committees: Te Kauwhata Primary School Committee 8 years, 4 years as Chairman; Te Kauwhata Refuge Committee; Te Kauwhata St John’s Ambulance; Lower Waikato Toastmasters; Presbyterian Church - Board of Management - Parish Council; Rangiriri Development Committee.
