I specifically listed this property with Marissa and Maria as I knew they would do an excellent job with it. It was a unique and unusual property with great land value, but a house that had been virtually untouched for over 50 years, possibly much more than that. The unique aspect was that the land value was significant, but the house needed major work. It also had a heritage overlay which had its own issues for anyone buying the property. Accordingly, it presented a challenge for the agents. Marissa and Maria kept me fully informed right throughout the marketing period so that I knew where things were at all times. In addition, following their advice to auction the property, I insisted that the auctioneer be Andrew North. I have had personal dealings with him where he has auctioned properties for me, and he does an excellent job. I gave the listing to Marissa and Maria because they had been involved in the sale of a property some years ago for me and associates in a private capacity. They did a great job on that and went above and beyond in terms of the marketing, and also the particular needs that were required at the time of settlement.
