I spent close to six months searching for just the right property to purchase. During this time, I went to up to 12 open homes each weekend and interacted with countless agents from across the Porirua district. I made it known to each one I met, that I was seriously looking, and that I would be interested in viewing anything that fit my needs. During this entire six month period there was only one agent who took the initiative to call me as (or even before) properties were listed, and that agent was Martin. The first time I met Martin, I found him very blunt. As time went on and I had the pleasure of working with him more closely, I learned to appreciate this 'bluntness' as honesty. Over the months that I was in contact with Martin, he kept in regular communication about potential properties, made time to show me through properties outside of open home hours (sometimes more than once), and gave me what I consider to be honest advice based on what he knew I was looking for. The fact that he also had a good sense of humour and a kind nature only made our interactions at what had the potential to be a stressful time, more relaxed and enjoyable. When it came time for me to sell my other property, though he couldn't take on the job himself he recommended an agent to me, which I greatly appreciated. Regardless of whether or not I had found a property through Martin, I would have the same feedback about him. As it happens, I did find a property through him and happily settled on it just a week ago. He was an absolute professional throughout the entire purchasing process. If you are looking to purchase a property, I cannot recommend Martin highly enough to guide you through the process. If you are lucky enough to have him sell a property for you, I am certain you will be in the best possible hands, and your potential buyers will feel the same way.

It was really great having Martin as our agent. He was very knowledgeable of the market and answered all my questions. He knows I have a thousand and he was always ready to answer or will go out of his way to find out for me. The logistics and all other nitty gritty of selling a house can be daunting and he surely took those away from us and we just focused on tidying up the house and readying it for the open homes.
