About Louise

Houses have always held a fascination for me. Ever since I was a child I always wondered what was going on inside. I think it was the fact that a house enveloped the people who lived in it providing them with security, safety and warmth. I still feel like that today, particularly about brick and tile properties! Prior to real estate, working in the UK, I was lucky enough to be involved in some of the largest manufacturing industries in the world. From the "buzz" of providing health and safety products for 10,000 workers on a Toyota assembly line to the individual requirements of Rolls Royce Aerospace work or creating a bespoke product for five workers who produced the revered Bentley motorcars, these unique opportunities were stimulating and challenging. I completed a diploma in marketing which has proved to be invaluable in my sales career. Good communication and an eye for detail help me to provide a complete rounded service for owners and also to ensure that tenants feel secure and listened to. What I love about Barfoot & Thompson is that it is a family business and their values are practiced on a daily basis. Hauraki has been home for me since 1995, so travelling to work in Milford is an absolute dream. Living in a household of rugby league fans I am involved whether I like it or not! I enjoy running along the beach and really believe that we live in a paradise. I admire the expertise and professionalism of the team at Milford. They are experienced and between them can answer all your questions, whether they relate to Healthy Homes, current rental trends and valuations or tenancy legalities. Exceptional service to tenant and owner

From the day we booked the viewing to beyond getting our rental with Kathryn, her service, communication and customer centric approach has been exceptional. Beyond her control there were issues in our rental from the start to which she sorted or supported extremely well. Not to even mention the 194 page inspection document she put together for us to review.. needless to say- with that amount of work I didn’t even dispute her findings. If you’re an investor looking to rent out property- I’d highly recommend Kathryn! If you’re a tenant looking for your next home- call Kathryn! She aligns the owners and tenants objectives to a tee! To her boss- give her a raise - she sets the bar high!!

Smooth move-in on tight deadline

Kathryn was quick to reach out after I submitted my application, after some clarifying questions and organising my referees. The next time I spoke with Kathryn she had remembered many details regarding my situation and taken the extra steps to help accommodate my tight deadline on moving. She made the rental process very easy and communicated well throughout the process. When I needed to ask some questions whilst Kathryn was on leave, Amber was great assistance, I also appreciated that Amber organised a new ONT power cable they helped shorten the delay on many getting access to the internet. Next time I move I'd definitely be checking Barfoot & Thompson Listings
