Caroline's market knowledge was excellent. Although, she had not marketed many houses in Newlands when we first met, she had been very successful with the sales she had carried out. She was able to situate the property within a realistic price range and communicated clearly the rationale and intentions behind her approach to the sale. I always felt included in the process - free to express my point of view or to discuss any questions I needed to understand. For example, Caroline provided me with information about how she conducted an "open house" including how to "dress the house for sale" so that prospective buyers could imagine living in it themselves with their own belongings. This idea was new to me and it was interesting to observe the extent to which it was effective. I thought Caroline was very fair to both the buyers and to me, the seller. I never felt any lack of confidence in her abilities or dedication to acquiring a satisfactory outcome for me the seller and for the buyer. It was always a pleasure for me to discuss the progress of the sale with Caroline - as previously mentioned, she always communicated clearly and well.
