From the first time we met Alison we knew that she would make a stressful experience a pleasant one. At our first meeting Alison came fully prepared with a written report on sales in the area, a precis of our property, sales strategy, an estimated range of what price we could expect and a suggested programme of open homes and auction date. All our questions were answered in simple terms and a full explation of the whole process explained. She arranged the photographer and guided us through the preparation for open homes. Following each open home we received a phone call with the numbers attending , their comments and whether we should expect them to proceed. Each week Alison sent a written report detailing the comments of each visitor and what price range they considered the propery to sell for. These were summarised into whether they could be potential buyers or not. Even though Alison was juggling multiple properties we never at any stage felt that we were not uppermost in her mind. The afternoon before the auction Alison along with the auctioneer visited and they explained what would happen the next day. We set the reserve and they discussed how they would endeavour to reach our price expections. Come auction day we were welcomed to the auction room by the Ferrymead Sales Manager Jackie. Alison and Rosa Carter along with the auctioneer handled the negotiations until both seller and buyer were happy. We are extremely satisfied in the manner in which Alison worked so hard to get the buyers to a position where they could meet our expectations. Alison is a one in a million agent. We are so happy our paths crossed and we definitely had the best agent selling our beautiful but unique family home on Clifton Hill. Alison was extremely patient with us, she never pressured us and let us go at our own speed getting the house ready for the market. She helped with our styling too which was fabulous.
