When discussing the upcoming listing of my Ruby Bay Cottage Leeon's name came up a number of times when talking with Motueka locals, as being the Real Estate Agent who would get it sold for what I wanted. As I headed into the final preparation for listing my property, the national-wide Covid Lockdown in August 2021 threw a few unwanted balls up in the air, in respect of co-ordinating everything to have the property ready to go to market. Dealing with Leeon during this time was seamless. Leeon has an incredibly calm and professional manner and I genuinely believed, at all times, that Leeon (and his Harcourts team) was working in partnership with me, to achieve the best possible result for my property sale. Leeon provided a market appraisal and I was upfront with him from the get-go about what I wanted to achieve price wise and we did that at Deadline Sale three weeks later. I think that when you have to contact people to ask for an update on what is happening, that means service failure has already occurred. I didn't have to do this once. I always felt informed and updated regarding viewings and buyer interest. I have dealt with a number of Real Estate agents over the years and Leeon impressed as being a complete professional at what he does and knows the Tasman market inside and out.

My first impressions of Leeon was that he was always very prompt to reply to phone calls and messages I left for him. My partner and I enjoyed getting to know and working with Leeon over the weeks leading up to auction. The atmosphere he created in the open home was always relaxed with a willingness to answer all questions to the best of his abilities. Leeon’s professional approach towards us was friendly and supportive and we didn’t feel pushed into making any decisions. On the day of auction, Leeon sat with us as we bid, and he was extremely and genuinely happy for us and our success in winning at auction. We are absolutely delighted to have purchased our first family home and it was a pleasure to work with Leeon through the process. I’m sure we will meet around town and there will continue to be a friendly connection between us!

Exemplary in all aspects even taking on board our requirement for a clause to assist purchaser if vendors were unable to consummate the sale.(2a : finish, complete consummate a business deal. b : to make perfect. c : achieve … ) Leeons' PA Mutki too is an extremely professional individual; integral to the success of the transaction. Leeon & Mutki kept us fully informed at all stages of the buying process, which given multi offer and vendors other properties needing to be sold, meant a huge juggling effort. Their attempts to video the handover which would have been a great keep sake et el was sadly thwarted by vendors tenant not being able to give us vacant possession until 5:00pm on day of settlement. Leeon and his team (Mukti Kansara) were both very efficient at their work. They showed me properties when I approached them as wanting to look and had picked properties that were of appeal to me. They were available when I was which was not always convenient to them. Leeon was not pushy - if fact he told me the down side of buying in a rush when perhaps my life is not as on track as it usually is. With that warning which I appreciated I went ahead with a purchase any way which had good results. Both Leeon and Mukti are good at keeping the buyer informed of progress and efficiently send any paperwork requested. They make it easy to get builders reports and inspections done which is good when you are an out of town buyer. They informed me of the construction of the house discussed fully any risks like dampness. Leeons building knowledge helped as he could describe to me how the houses were built and where they may or may not have issues. His contacts in the town by living in it allows some local knowledge to be imparted such as which area to purchase in and what type of neighbourhood the house is in (retired or young) as this is very important. In conclusion Leeon and Mukti are very efficient and will work with you without too much pressure for a sale. They realise the importance of the buyers needs as well as the vendors.
