Right from our first contact, Steve and his team have put my wishes first. I live overseas and was not able to return to Hastings to prepare the property for sale. Steve and his team worked with the tenant to assist them to relocate, they completed repairs to present the property and they kept me informed along the way. Me and my wife have first met Eddie when we attended the open home for the house that we would later buy at the auction. We were buyers then and we liked Eddie’s professionalism and Harcourts services back then. That is why, 8 years later, we went back to Eddie to sell the house once again as our plans have changed. Everything was perfect from the seller’s perspective as well, Eddie has been in Hawke’s Bay industry for so long that we had no doubts his knowledge, experience and buyers database will be a winning combination for us. It was also very benefitial that Eddie was in construction industry prior to his real estate career and can evaluate and assess homes through another lense. In terms of communication he was always very proactive and kept us informed all along the way, even outside his normal business hours. Eddie also ensured we understood every decision along the way and we felt completely supported throughout the entire process. The open homes attracted a lot of parties and a couple of days after the first open home we have received multiple offers. The house sold slighlty above the market evaluation and we were very happy with the outcome.
