As Wanaka locals, we have been quietly searching for the right home since we moved here in 2022. After an offer fell through last year, we decided to park our search, until late last year. By chance we attended an open home Matt was running. After a brief discussion, I believe Matt knew exactly what we were looking for and invited us to look through a home coming onto the market in the New Year that would suit us. It was love at first sight. After some negotiation, we also secured the sale of our property. Deal done, no stress and we are happy vendors/purchasers. Matt has a friendly, professional approach to real estate and knows the Wanaka housing market so well and is in tune with his clientele. Super helpful. Travelled south from chch to look at some properties, one of which was a listing of Scott’s. It didn’t fit, but he had a new listing coming on that day. It did fit ! Beautifully. Purchasing from another city is a little daunting and is a new experience for me. He was responsive and patient to every request. Really made what at times can be a difficult experience, relatively straightforward. Good dude to work with.
