Although we were the buyer of the property that Casey had listed, and he was acting on behalf of the seller, we were incredibly impressed with the hard work he put in on behalf of the seller. The property had it's issues and it was only Casey's constant communication and assistance in resolving these issues, finding further information, providing quotes, etc, that kept us interested in pursuing the property. I wouldn't be surprised if the seller had no idea how much effort Casey put in to secure a sale for them at the best possible price. I would happily recommend Casey to anyone selling a property.

Known Allen for over 25 years and didn’t hesitate to pick him ( and Kelly) when we eventually succumbed to selling our property. Interestingly you don’t get to see how an agent actually works on your behalf do you, so we needed to have absolute confidence in Allen’s ability, we weren’t disappointed. Seven years ago when we bought our house Christchurch, we were ably assisted in navigating the New Zealand Real Estate world by Kim Ric-Hansen, acting as our Buyer's Agent. Unfortunately, we could only enjoy our home for nine months, before work circumstances forced our relocation to Auckland. When we decided six years later that we were unlikely to return to Christchurch, we naturally turned to Harcourts and Kim to assist us in selling our house. Kim had in the meantime progressed in her career to managing the Harcourts Gold sales team, so assigned Nick Dwan to our cause. Due to having already made an offer on an Auckland property conditional on selling in Christchurch, Nick was faced with the unenviable task of preparing a campaign, knocking a property that had seen four tenants in six years into a saleable condition, and going to auction in time to meet our purchase settlent date. He hit the ground running, and ran Open Homes at a frequency we thought not to be possible. When auction day came and there were no bidders in the room our spirits sank, but Nick just calmly let us know that he was running another Open Home that same Thursday evening, and more over the weekend! Thankfully, by the Friday evening he could inform us that we were in a multi-offer situation, and after a couple of tense days the offer we decided on went unconditional, and will settle in time for our purchase with a day to spare. Our thanks to Nick (and Kim for having full confidence in him) for committing to the challenge, and piloting our sale into safe harbour.

If you are looking for a highly professional real estate agent, then talk to Charlie Horncastle. He is such a great communicator - always available and he responded immediately to all our calls, texts and emails. His knowledge, advice, work ethic and passion for real estate, helped make selling our property a whole lot easier. Charlie's support team were also excellent. All communication was responsive, friendly and articulate. We will certainly engage Charlie in the future, as such a great guy to deal with.
