I don’t know how to explain this without sounding dramatic… but securing my first home felt about as complex as brokering peace between Israel and Iran. There were negotiations, counter-negotiations, hidden clauses, semi nuclear meltdowns, and at least one moment where I genuinely thought I was going to have to trade a kidney. Drew my real estate Yoda, my housing Jedi, my personal property therapist. This legend didn’t just help me buy a house, he navigated a labyrinth of conditions, mayhem, and chaos with the grace of a swan and the tenacity of a caffeine-fueled honey badger. He was so cool under pressure, it was like watching 007 playing black jack, he was relentless with paperwork, and somehow managed to keep me sane (which should honestly be commission-worthy in itself). At one point, I swear he negotiated harder than a UN delegate. If there had been one more issue with the vendor. I think we’d have had to call in the UN peacekeeping force. But despite the madness, we got there. And thanks to "Agent Wale", I now hold the keys to a place I can call home. Would I recommend him? Absolutely. Would I nominate him for international diplomacy? Absolutely.

She worked extremely hard with all she did .. following up buyers .. explaining feedback and helping with a consent issue that occurred during the marketing process. She was enthusiastic and warm yet I trusted her guidance implicitly. We sold on auction day for a great price due to her skill as an agent and her excellent negotiation skills. We are not familiar with the Christchurch Real Estate market since we live in Auckland but had a friend who worked in real estate here, so we asked her if she had anyone that she knew in Christchurch. She did, and highly recommended Mary Turnbull. We emailed Mary and received an extremely friendly and welcoming reply from her. Yes - she would be very pleased to help us and this set the tone for our entire relationship with her. She is an extremely experienced and hard-working agent who clearly loves her job. She highly recommended auctioning the property and we took her advice. Mary met us in Christchurch and was very helpful in suggesting good tradesmen that we needed since there were a few items that needed attention. When we returned to Auckland, we received continuous emails and calls keeping us up to date with progress on Open homes etc. On returning to Christchurch several days before the auction we were very pleasantly surprised at how well the property was looking. Mary suggested that we should have a Christchurch lawyer who understood the ramifications of the earthquake legislation and yes, of course! - she knew exactly the lawyer to engage! Mary made the whole process very easy! The house was passed in at auction, but Mary knew that this would probably happen and had two lovely young buyers who were buying their first house. A fter negotiations between the parties, we achieved a result that both parties were very happy with.
